STIHL PICCO™ Super 3 is a low-profile, low-kickback saw chain. The razor-edged, square-cornered cutter shape ensures minimum chain friction for an exceptionally smooth and clean cut in hard or frozen wood. Considered a high-performance cutting chain, it has improved cutting and boring efficiency with less feed force and has a 15% longer cutting life when compared to the PM3 saw chain.
Applications: PS3 chain is ideal for chainsaws with less than 1.5 kW (2.0 bhp). It is for use by those with extraordinary cutting needs such as professionals or those with professional experience, expertise and/or knowledge.
STIHL recommends using low-kickback, green-labeled chain and green-labeled reduced-kickback bars on all powerheads.
