What is the warranty extension program???

Customers who purchase two-stroke gasoline powered Jonsered or RedMax branded handheld products, including: chainsaws, blowers, hedge trimmers, pole pruners/saws and trimmers, for non-income producing personal use or household purposes, excluding commercial, agricultural, retail, industrial and rental usage types, can extend their product warranty from the standard 2 years to either a 3 year or 4 year limited warranty.

Purchased 6 bottles of Jonsered or RedMax Branded 2-stroke oil and receive an extra year or warranty for a total of 3 full years of warranty coverage.

Purchase 3 cans of premix fuel at the time of purchase and receive an extra 2 years of warranty for a total of 4 full years of coverage.

Who’s Eligible?
Consumers who are using the products for non-income producing personal use or household purposes only. Extended warranty exclusions included but are not limited to commercial, agricultural, rental, industrial and rental usage types.

What’s Required?
(a) Qualified products sold after May 2013 (b) Consumers must purchase fuel and/or oil on the same invoice/receipt as the qualifying handheld item. (c) Fuel and/or oil must be purchased on the same invoice/receipt as the qualifying handheld item. (d) Only online product registration offered for this program. (e) Consumer must submit a copy of the original invoice/ receipt online or by mail in to qualify. Consumers are required to keep their proof of purchase for the length of warranty should verification be needed. Jonsered reserves the right to ask for this receipt prior to warranty work being performed.

Where to register?

Milton Village Hardware will take care of all the registration requirements.  We are an authorized RedMax and Jonsered dealer so we can perform all warranty repairs down the road.

Is Bar & Chain oil included in this extended warranty program?
No. Only 2-stroke oil is included in the program.

Why must I save the receipt if I’m attaching it in the registration process?
To ensure a great customer service experience, we ask you to save the original receipt should verification be needed.
